While not originally from here, these mountains are my home, my happy place! Moving away from everything and everyone you know can be scary. I know this firsthand; we did exactly that with a thriving business 700 miles away and two small kiddos. No family or friends here, just the desire to be in the mountains and raise our kids with like-minded folks. It can be one of the most amazing things you have ever done!
